Power Metal
Power metal - rock-style, which appeared in the 1980s in Europe. Primogenitor of this style of music is considered to be heavy metal. Power metal differs from the latter with a more dynamic sound. The legislator of this style is the group Helloween, which has also brought some joyful notes into the world of metal. Subjects and sound of their songs were much more positive than the basic motion of heavy metal artists. It is also worth noting that later the themes of the songs often dealt with an epic fantasy and science fiction events. The most prominent representatives of the power metal community are Blind Guardian, Epidemic, Nightwish.
