Indie Rock
The notion of indie-rock combines as much music styles, features and compositions, as many groups and individual performers. Indie (short for "independent") performs an independent from record companies music, which can easily be bound with alternative and underground, and at the same time, indie - a unique direction in creativity of groups, basis of which is freedom, independence. The image of an indie artist can be easily copied from any young man from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s. The main point is that indie artists are similar with their audience. Prominent members of indie-rock are Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Pixies.
