Industrial Rock

Industrial rock is rooted more to the beginning of the early 1920s, when Luigi Russolo, in his book "The Art of Noise", used industrial sounds. This experimental charachter was inherited by a group Throbbing Gristle, who became the founders of industrial. Using a sharp mechanical sound in various forms and performings, they made this style one of the most popular. Throbbing Gristle founded "Industrial Rec." (it is believed that the name of this label has given the name to "industrial rock"). Many styles have become followers of the industrial-rock. Maitres (SPK, Einstuerzende Neubauten) of this style over time have gone into more melodic postindastrial.
